Facility Information

  • Pool Type: Indoor heated pool (85 degrees)
  • Free Parking
  • Attendees: Non-Members are welcome
  • Entrance: Enter through front of LA Fitness, follow path through the gym and walk through locker room to arrive at pool deck.
  • Changing Facilities: Changing pods available on deck
  • Viewing Area: Ample space on deck to view classes. Please do not hover over classes or coach your child unless the instructor has asked for your assistance. Parents must remain on deck during lessons. This is not a "drop-off" activity.
  • What to Bring to Lessons: Family-friendly swimsuit or swim trunks, towel, goggles, and swim cap if the swimmer has long hair.
  • Showering: There are showers on the pool deck for swimmers to rinse off before and after lessons.
  • Food/Drink: No food is allowed on the pool deck. Water only is permitted and must be in a plastic bottle or thermos. Glass or open containers are not permitted.
  • Swim Diapers: All children under the age of 3 and anyone not fully potty trained must wear two swim diapers: a disposable swim diaper underneath and a reusable swim diaper over top. Staff will check swim diapers before swimmers enter the pool.

Instructors

Please note that instructors are subject to change. Things do happen where an instructor gets sick, is unavailable, or even leaves the program. We reserve the right to make changes either temporarily or permanently.

Make-up Policy

  • Makeups are based on availability.
  • There will be no refunds for missed swimming lessons.
  • Classes that we cancel will be rescheduled during makeup week (following the end of the session).
  • We do not provide refunds. If you cannot attend the lesson, at best we will credit your account for the unused portion of your tuition provided you let us know well in advance. If you simply stop attending and expect a refund or a credit, you are holding a spot from another student and we will neither refund you nor credit you after the fact.

Bad Weather Procedure

In the case of bad weather, including thunderstorms, you should call our office at 904-442-8288. If we do cancel, we will send emails and texts to all accounts provided the account is configured to receive communications.
